Thomaston — Douglas R. Bibber, former part-owner of Hall & Bibber Funeral Home in Thomaston has sold his interest to Michael Hall.

Hall is now the sole owner. The new name of the funeral home will be Hall’s Funeral Home and will continue serving families from its current location at 78 Main St. in Thomaston.

The phone number is 354-6475. Douglas has returned to his family business in Kennebunk. Douglas worked for 10 years with the Hall Funeral Homes in Waldoboro, Boothbay and Thomaston.

The Hall family and staff wish Douglas and his family the best as they head back to Kennebunk.

The Hall family will continue to serve the families of Knox and Lincoln counties with professionalism and compassionate care as they have done since 1958.
