Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day
Thomaston — Billy’s Tavern will host its sixth annual Halfway to St. Paddy's Day Party featuring The Pubcrawlers Saturday, Sept. 15. Corned beef sandwiches and Irish Egg Rolls will be on the menu; the music will begin at 8 p.m. The Portland-based Celtic punk band has dubbed Billy’s their favorite Irish bar in Maine.
The seven-person Pubcrawlers feature rocking bagpipes, guitars, concertina, drums tin whistle, fiddle and guitars. Touring throughout New England, The Pubcrawlers are revered for their traditional Celtic drinking tunes and melodic punk rock in the spirit of The Pogues and Flogging Molly.
