Warren — Two guns were reported stolen Thursday, Feb. 16, from a storage unit.

The lock to the unit was cut and replaced with another lock. Stolen from the unit on Route 97 were a Charter Arms .38-caliber, six-shot revolver; and a .22 caliber Colt Woodsman pistol with magazine, according to Knox County Sheriff Donna Dennison.

The break-in was reported to police shortly before 3 p.m.

This is the latest in a series of burglaries in storage units in the region. There have been at least five other storage-unit burglaries in the county since early December.
