Gould seeks road commissioner position in Appleton

Appleton — David Gould has returned nomination papers to the Appleton Town Office for the position of road commissioner, a post he has previously held.

Current Road Commissioner Jake Boyington has taken out nomination papers for the position, but has not yet returned them to the Town Office.

Riley Fenner has returned nomination papers for a two-year term on the Planning Board, a seat currently held by Gary Roberts. Roberts and Fred Bucklin have returned papers for two three-year terms on the Planning Board, one of which is currently held by Fenner.

The following positions also are available:

Two three-year terms on the Select Board, now held by Scott Wiley and Lorie Costigan, are available.

Two one-year positions for Planning Board associate members to fill seats that are currently vacant.

A three-year Appleton Village School Board member position, currently held by Deb Kieran.

Nomination papers must be returned to the Town Office, at 2915 Sennebec Road, by Friday, April 28, at 3 p.m. Nominees much get at least 25 and no more than 75 signatures.
