Girl Scouts from Troop 1160 in Warren recently donated items to three Maine non-profit organizations. The Troop accepted donated boxes of Girl Scout cookies during booth sales, and gave them to the Bread for the Journey food pantry in Warren. Items from their annual "Stuff a Stocking" Christmas stocking project were also donated - children's toys to the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital's "Owie Box" at the Maine Medical Center, and hygiene items to the Midcoast Hospitality House in Rockport. Troop 1160 is comprised of scouts from Brownie thru Senior levels, and meets weekly in Warren.
