First Church of Christ, Scientist, Camden has invited Ginny Luedeman, C.S.B., to speak to our community on ‘Life Without Fear’ on Saturday, October 13th at 2pm.  The talk will be held at the Parish Hall in St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut Street, Camden, Maine. Ginny is an international speaker, author and spiritual healer.  We will be posting more about Ginny in the next couple of weeks so check back to learn more about her.

A little about Ginny in her own words.

“In the '60s I was a rock singer. We played with The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and many groups popular at that time (for a sample of my 60's hard rock album - CLICK HERE ). These experiences provided me with some great stories to share with others, through talks and writing.

Some tough times brought me to the study of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. The study of this book, in conjunction with the Bible, really turned my life around.

Within two years a complete change of lifestyle took place. I began a spiritual journey which has brought wonderful healing and joy. I married an Army Chaplain, Craig. That was over 37 years ago.

We’ve enjoyed a full life. Our riches include a beautiful diverse family, most who live close by, celebrations as an excuse for family hugs, opportunities to travel, salmon fishing, boating, and a universal sense of home.

Big life changes for this once non-conforming hippie. What a fantastic ride I continue to have! God’s love has weeded my garden of thoughts.

What isn’t a blessing has been gently removed and healed one thought at a time, so the good in me can grow more freely. I’ve felt like a flower unfolding in the bright sunshine of God’s Mothering care, where all are embraced and forever loved.”
