Gibbs Library elects officers

Washington — Gibbs Library recently elected Amy Micklich as president and welcomed new teen and adult trustee board members.

Joining the board are John Christie, Len Lewis and Scott Gould to three-year terms. Teen trustees elected for a one-year terms are Antyna Gould, Jane Horovitz and Kaylee Casas. Toni Kayser Weiner continues as secretary with Susan D'Amore remaining as treasurer. The trustee board meets at 7 p.m. at the library the first Monday of every month. All are welcome to attend.

Gibbs Library is an all-volunteer library that relies on donations of time and money to provide more 14,000 lendable items. The library offers many educational and entertaining programs as well as providing patrons with access to public computers, Kindles, audiobooks and research materials. The Gibbs Library Gallery has art shows that enrich the life of the community.
