Ghost plays Summer Sizzle
Bremen — The Waldoboro-based Medomak Valley Land Trust will hos its inaugural auction fundraiser Sunday, Aug. 17, at 6 p.m. The Medomak Summer Sizzle will be held at Twin Maples Farm, on the shore of the Medomak River estuary.
The Medomak Summer Sizzle will feature an authentic southern barbecue dinner from Moe’s Original BBQ that includes smoked meats, traditional southern sides and decadent desserts. Maine's holler-folk band The Ghost of Paul Revere will play throughout the evening; from folk tunes to foot-stomping bluegrass, their live show has quickly attained legendary status.
Highlighting the evening will be the live auction, led by famous Friendship auctioneer Bill Michaud and featuring Patriots’ tickets, a ride on the Friendship Sloop Gladiator, a Gay Island oyster cruise and more. The event is made possible thanks to the hosts and underwriters, Dan and Suzanne Goldenson of Bremen, and corporate sponsor First Advisors. Tickets are $45 per person in advance, $50 at the door; and include admission, dinner, wine and beer.
For more information about the Sizzle, contact the MVLT office at 832-5570 or firstname.lastname@example.org; or visit medomakvalley.org/auction.html. Medomak Valley Land Trust has been working for more than 20 years to promote and preserve the natural, recreational, and scenic character and the traditional land-uses of the Medomak River watershed.
