Ghost of Paul Revere, back by popular demand
Thomaston — Back by popular demand, southern Maine bluegrass band The Ghost of Paul Revere will return to Billy's Tavern Friday, March 8, beginning at 8 p.m.
Born on the banks of the Saco River, brothers in all but name, The Ghost of Paul Revere plays with the rural spirit of their roots infused with a love of soul, blues, rock and bluegrass. Centered around the songs of Max Davis, Griffin Sherry and Sean McCarthy, their music is built on powerful harmonies and a non-traditional way of interpreting traditional American music.
The band, whose debut EP "North" was the 15th best-selling local release in Maine and New Hampshire after only six months, made a big impression at Billy’s last month. Cover charge is $5. For more information, call 354-1177 or follow Billy’s Tavern on Facebook. Billy’s Tavern is located at 1 Starr St., behind the business block.
