Rockport — February’s ArtLab for All Ages Workshop will take place Saturday, Feb. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art, 162 Russell Ave. Admission is free and all are welcome; materials will be provided.
The workshop, titled Geometric Paintings, will explore the essentials of line, shape and color. She is known for her hand-colored images and work with the photographic negative, and her art is exhibited and collected internationally.
ArtLab is made possible in part by support from Camden National Bank, the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation and individual donors. CMCA’s major media sponsor is Maine Home + Design magazine. CMCA is a nonprofit organization advancing contemporary art in Maine through exhibitions and educational programs. Exhibition galleries are open seasonally, May to December.
