Fun-filled week at Rockland library

Fun-filled week of activities is planned at Rockland Public Library.

Rockland — Come to the Rockland Public Library and participate in a week of fun filled free programs.

Friday, April 18, at 10 a.m. come to Baby Storytime for little ones ages 2 and under. This is an opportunity to meet other families, learn finger plays, rhymes, and try out new stories.

Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. come to the movies. Free family movie matinee featuring “Field of Dreams," part of The Arts…for Kids & their Families series.

In addition to ngoing storytimes and art activities, as a special treat for April vacation additional events are planned as part of The Arts…for Kids & their Families series.

Wednesday April 23, at 2 p.m. The Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers will wow visitors with their popular puppet show, “Everybody Loves Pirates!” Plan to come early as this is on a first come basis.

Friday, April 25, at 2 p.m. all young builders come to the library to make “A Treasure Box” with local craftsman Peter Proeller. This program is intended for children 8 years old and up with all materials provided.
