Tori Yattaw’s paintings appear on a variety of Maine-made products at Rockland’s Uptown Studio.

Rockland — Local painter Tori Yattaw’s canvases are sometimes framed but more often incorporated into a variety of household items, Maine-made products she offers at her Uptown Studio at 371 Main St.

Aprons, paintings, pillows and a number of other household items with hand-painted designs can be found right in the shop. Yattaw recently set up a work station right in the storefront, allowing visitors to see the artist at work. Yattaw uses all American-made materials for her work. In addition to her new Freehand Collection, she takes requests for custom designs.
