Rockland — Freda Thompson Vose, 83, died after a long illness, Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.

Born in Portland, Jan. 5, 1929, she was the daughter of John and Gertrude Chambers Thompson.

She married Clayton L. Vose and together raised their family here.
