Rockland — The fourth annual Medomak Valley Golf Classic will be Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Rockland Golf Course. The 18-hole scramble event will begin at 1 p.m.

The fun tourney will be during homecoming weekend and is a fundraiser for the MVHS golf program. The event cost is $75 for individuals or $300 for a foursome. A light dinner is included in the fee.

The classic is open to all community members and MVHS alumni. Former members of the Panther golf team are encouraged to participate.

Prizes for the top three in the gross category, longest drive and closest to the pins will be awarded. There also will be a raffle and 50/50 drawing.
