Forest clearing continues at Thomaston Super Walmart site
Thomaston — Trees continued to fall Oct. 18 at the former farmland-turned-junkyard that will be home to the new Walmart superstore in Thomaston. An access road has been grubbed out leading away from the intersection of Buttermilk Lane and Dexter Street Extension, and will shortly be rough graveled and inspected in order to allow heavier machinery to move in.
The Thomaston Super Walmart is tentatively slated for completion in July 2013.
