Foreign car show set for June 8
Camden — The 12th annual Foreign Car Show, sponsored by the Mid Maine Sports Car Club, is set to take place June 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Chestnut Street by Camden National Bank in downtown Camden.
Entries of all British and European sports and touring cars at least 25 years old are welcome.
First, second and third places will be awarded in the following categories: Saloons and Touring Cars; Vintage Sports Cars; Traditional Sports Cars (Early Period) and Traditional Sports Cars (Late Period).
Each entrant has one vote in each of the four categories for the selection of winners. Best in Show will be selected from the four first place winners by a distinguished panel of Scrutineers.
Pre-Registration for entrants is required at mmscc.com. Entry fees are $10 for MMSCC members and $20 for nonmembers. Annual club dues are $25 and membership forms will be available at the registration desk on show day.
The purpose of the Mid Maine Sports Car Club is the preservation and enjoyment of vintage British and European sports and touring cars and it holds events throughout the driving season each year.
