Anyone can develop floaters but they begin appearing most commonly in people between 50 and 75 years old. Your risk of seeing floaters is increased by being very nearsighted, having diabetes, or having had cataract surgery. Some see floaters when they have migraine headaches or in the period before a migraine as part of a visual aura.

Dr. Marden and Staff AND JACK wishes everyone a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!!! Our Belfast and Rockport offices will be closed Monday, September 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
