First Thursday music preview

Dec 20, 2013

Camden — Camden Public Library hosts live music the first Thursday of each month. The format for the Jan. 2 musical evening will be a songswap, an informal song-circle format.

Attendees are invited to bring a song or two, a friend or two and an instrument or two Thursday, Jan. 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and share their favorite music. Songswaps are a great opportunity to add voices and accompaniment to favorite songs. For more information, call Ken Gross at the library, 236-3440.

The schedule of upcoming first Thursdays at the library offers: Feb. 6, to be announced; March 6, Library Coffeehouse with Lou and Peter Berryman; and April 3, Library Coffeehouse with David Dodson and The Lowdown, with John and Rachel Nicholas. The library also hosts a songwriters class on third Tuesdays beginning Jan. 21; call Gross for more information.
