Fiber Arts Group debuts in Rockport

Apr 05, 2013

Rockport — Rockport Public Library is hosting a new group — the RPL Fiber Arts Group will meet the first and third Tuesday of the month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the library, 1 Limerock St.

Anyone with a yen to knit, crochet, embroider, felt or do other types of fiber arts who would like to work on their stitching with other like-minded enthusiasts; or seek a place to ask questions, share tips and generally enjoy themselves is invited to come to the library for the first meeting of the RPL Fiber Arts Group Tuesday afternoon, April 16.

This group is just starting and welcomes all levels of experience; however, there will be an experienced knitter on hand to help with instruction. Extra knitting needles and practice yarn will be available for the first meeting, which will be held in the library’s Marine Room.

For more information, contact the library at 236-3642.
