Felon with firearm charged
Camden — A convicted felon was arrested for having a firearm in his possession Sept. 18.
Justin Bowen, 32, of Camden was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon following a search warrant carried out at his residence, said Camden Police Detective Curt Andrick. The charge is a class C felony.
Bowen was charged in 1999 with two counts of burglary and aggravated criminal mischief, Andrick said. As a convicted felon, Bowen is not allowed to possess firearms.
Bowen was released from jail after paying $1,000 bail, according to police.
