Farmers' Market celebrates new location May 27

Camden — Camden Farmers’ Market is having a housewarming celebration at its new location, 116 Washington St., Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to noon. Festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony The public is invited to join in the celebration.

St. George Carriage Co. will be giving horse-and-carriage rides to and from the market beginning at 10 a.m., and members will be offering A Taste of the Market at each booth. Arnold Perrin will provide live music, and Malia Dell, cookbook writer, will be on hand, signing her new book “Food That Works.” Herbalist Kathi Langlier of Herbal Revolutions is scheduled to give a talk, and there is a scavenger hunt for the kids.

The Camden Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon from May through October and Wednesday from 3:30 to 6 p.m. from June 21 through Sept. 27. Learn more about this event and the Market at camdenfarmersmarket.org.
