The Fall Fairy Festival is Saturday, Sept. 6 at Merryspring Nature Center in Camden.

Camden — Families are invited to Merryspring Nature Center’s Fall Fairy Festival Saturday, Sept. 6, from 1 to 3 p.m.

This free event will feature a variety of family and fairy-friendly activities and crafts. Guests in the hexagon and garden areas will be able to build their own accessories for fairy gardens, create magic wands out of natural materials, have their faces painted, and more. Meanwhile, in a special location in the woods, children will be able to construct their own secret fortress or construct a tiny home for forest dwellers out of natural materials. Crafts and fairy house building will be on-going, so guests will be able to take part in all activities if they would like.

Author Liza Gardner Walsh will be on hand to sign copies of her books, "Fairy House Handbook" and "Fairy Garden Handbook."

This event is free to all and is an outdoor program, so please choose weather-appropriate clothing. For more information on this program, please contact Merryspring at 236-2239.
