Fahy signs his ‘Star’
Lincolnville — Christopher Fahy, Midcoast author of “The Christmas Star,” will sign books Saturday, Dec. 14, from noon to 3 p.m. at Beyond the Sea, Route 1 at Lincolnville Beach. There will be complimentary cookies and candy canes.
The Thomaston’s writer’s novella has been called a new Christmas classic. Real estate mogul Russell Dodge has coveted Maine’s pristine Sheffield Peak for years, so when its owner finally decides to sell, Dodge hurries to Maine to close the deal right before Christmas. He has been told there may be a couple of families who have been caretaking the property for its previous owner, but Dodge isn’t overly concerned with the fate of these squatters. As he heads out of town, he daydreams about turning the Peak into an opulent ski resort … but a traumatic turn of events makes him question the way he has always lived.
Fahy's stories, poems and articles have appeared in many publications. He has won the Maine Arts Commission Fiction Competition; a grand prize in Atlanta Review's International Poetry Competition; and has received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the University of Maine at Augusta.
Signed copies are available at Beyond the Sea, Reading Corner in Rockland and Sherman's Books in Camden, as well as from the author's website — ChristopherFahy.com — and online retailers.
