Rockland — Lisa Mossel Vietze, a current exhibitor at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center art gallery, will offer a workshop in macro photography Saturday, April 29, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

This intermediate-level workshop requires participants to understand their digital camera in manual modes and have a macro lens. A camera may be available for loan. With hands-on practice, attendees will acquire skills to capture the beauty of our macro world.

Registration is required with a donation of $25, and space is limited. To reserve a spot, call 594-0600, ext. 5 or email info@mainecoastislands.org. The Visitor Center is in the South End, at 9 Water St.
