Beautiful African Art and Crafts for home or gifts are found in the little shop with a view at 39 Main Street in Belfast. Stroll down the porch and into the building. The glass walled shop welcomes you to browse the hand made, fair trade jewelry, sculpture, carvings, baskets, authentic artifacts, flat art and so much more.

The Aina Moja Shop is an artisan support project of Expanding Opportunities, a 501©3 organization in the USA and a registered NGO in Kenya. Artists whose products are sold through Aina Moja receive fair market value for their goods. This enhances the awareness of their goods and products, increases their sales, and advances their standard of living. Your purchase from the Aina Moja Shop or its web sites, www.ainamoja.com, www.1stafricanclothing.com or www.kangausa.com supports not only the artists but also the other projects of the organization, primarily the Street Children Project in Kenya, which manages a feeding program, a Children’s Home and a girl’s rescue project.

Expanding Opportunities honors, preserves and develops appreciation for indigenous skills through CAMP FOREST, a wilderness day and expedition Camp. Camp Forest brings indigenous wilderness and survival skills from three continents together to enrich the lives of children and adults while engendering an appreciation for the people of the world and the natural world around us.

You can learn more of the organization’s projects on the web at www.exop.org; or by visiting our Facebook, Google+, or Twitter pages.
