Evening with Grownups in Rockland
Rockland — First Universalist Church, 345 Broadway, continues its monthly series for adults exploring ethics, values and relationships through film and discussion Saturday, March 29. Doors will open 5 p.m. with potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., there will be a pre-viewing activity; the movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m.
This month’s movie is “Secondhand Lions” (2003, USA). Robert Duvall and Michael Caine portray two wealthy, eccentric brothers who take responsibility, albeit unintentionally, for their irresponsible niece’s son. Their stories are too spectacular to be true, much like the men themselves.
A discussion will follow the movie, so plan on an evening of food, fellowship and fun. There is no charge. For more information, call 594-8750.
