Esther L. Davies
Londonderry, N.H. — Esther Lee (Varney) Davies, passed away Sept. 13, 2016, after a yearlong illness surrounded by her loving family at her home.
Esther grew up in the Camden-Rockport area of Maine and graduated from Camden-Rockport High School. She had lived in Londonderry since 1987 and worked for a period at Sears in Manchester. Esther loved spending time camping with her family and tending her garden, but the real joy in her life was her family, especially her daughters, and most of all being Nanny to her two grandsons.
Esther is survived by her husband, Chris; their daughters, Rhiannon Vadney and her husband, Adam, of Hudson, N.H., and Megan Davies of Londonderry, N.H.; her treasured grandsons, Trenton and Tanner; her father, Howard Varney, of Belmont; as well as her loving sisters, Arlene Harriman and her husband, Tracy, of Belmont, and Susan Willey of Old Orchard Beach. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, Traci, Debbie and Laurie; nephew Jeremy; cousin Dickie and their families. She was predeceased by her greatly missed mother, Marion.
After cremation, a memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, N.H.
