Emergency preparedness course Sept. 11
Rockland — Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care & Hospice will present Emergencies: Are You Prepared? Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 11 a.m. to noon.
Chief Charles Jordan of Rockland Fire and Emergency Medical Services will share life-saving tips to ensure that individuals and their families are ready if and when an emergency occurs. Learn more about the new Yellow Dot program, what happens when 911 is dialed and how to help community emergency responders best serve.
The program is part of the ongoing series, Health Matters with Kno-Wal-Lin, in collaboration with the Picker Family Resource Center, to explore the ways in which home health and community services can promote one's best health and well-being at home.
Talks take place at the Picker Family Resource Center on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus 6 Glen Cove Drive, Suite 2 on the second Wednesday of every month. Programs are free and are open to all ages.
