Krispy Kreme to benefit Project Graduation
WALDOBORO — Krispy Kreme’s are on sale now. The cost is $6.50 per dozen with proceeds benefiting Medomak Valley High School Project Graduation 2013.
Orders are due Friday, April 5 with payment. The doughnuts will be delivered on Friday, April 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the entrance to the MVHS gym.

Nursing scholarship available
The Beryl Borgerson Memorial Nursing Scholarship is awarded annually by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority of which Beryl Borgerson was a member.
2013 high school graduates or previous graduates pursuing post-graduate nursing studies should apply to the Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship Committee by April 30.

Miller School announces kindergarten screening
WALDOBORO — Any child who will be 5 years old on or before Oct. 15, 2013 is eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall.
Screening dates this year will be Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15.

Palermo named to dean's list
PRINCETON, N.J. — Sarah Palermo of Camden, a theory and composition major, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2012 semester at Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
Hope's Sisk named to dean's list
ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. — Hannah Sisk, of Hope, has been named to Eckerd College's dean's list for the fall 2012 semester. The dean's list is compiled following the fall and spring semesters and includes students who completed at least four courses with a grade point average of 3.75. Hannah is majoring in international studies.
