USM announces dean's list for part-time students

PORTLAND — The following local, part-time, in-state students have been named to the University of Southern Maine dean’s list for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Natalie L Dame of Rockland and Thomas Shaw Waterhouse of Waldoboro.

In order to be named to the list, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours for two semesters.

New England School of Communications honors list

BANGOR — The New England School of Communications has announced the spring 2014 Honors List.

Trevor Winchenbaugh, of Union, earned the distinction of being named to the honors list for the spring semester.

Mark Lunt, of Tenants Harbor, earned the distinction of being named to the high honors list for the spring semester.

Deven Peters, of Thomaston, ME, earned the distinction of being named to the honors list for the spring semester.

Dean Koenig, of South Thomaston, earned the distinction of being named to the honors list for the spring semester.

Nicholas Young, a resident of Warren, earned the distinction of being named to the high honors list for the spring semester.

Spencer Roberts, a resident of Waldoboro, earned the distinction of being named to the high honors list for the spring semester.

Amber Abbotoni, a resident of Union, earned the distinction of being named to the high honors list for the spring semester.

Area residents graduate from New England School of Communications

BANGOR — On May 10, family and friends gathered in the Newman Gymnasium on the campus of Husson University in Bangor, to honor 120 graduates receiving their degrees.

Sarah Judkins, of Union, graduated with a bachelor of science in communications.

Spencer Roberts, of Waldoboro, graduated with a BS communications technology.

Amber Abbotoni, of Union, graduated with a BS media studies.
