‘Drinks & Art’ at Ripples Inn
Rockland — The public is invited to enjoy art and refreshment Saturday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ripples Inn bed-and-breakfast, 16 Pleasant St. “Acrylics: Drinks & Art” will offer more than 15 paintings dating primarily from the spring, summer and fall of 2012 by artist DiTa (Patricia Ondek) in the inn’s Harbor Hallway Gallery. The exhibition features florals, still lifes and landscapes of Midcoast Maine. DiTa will speak about her work; the talk is free and open to the public.
DiTa has worked with watercolors for 15 years and other media (Polaroid transfers and digital photography) with past gallery shows in Texas, Connecticut, Maine, New York and Florida. Recently, she has worked with acrylics in a 6-by-6-inch format, studying with Philip Frey, Bobbi Heath, Irene Plummer and Debra Arter. The artist currently resides in Friendship and has a web design business, the DiTa Group LLC. Her website is dita.org.
