Dreaming up buildings in Thomaston

Jan 27, 2014
Young readers snuggle up for a Tuck Me In bedtime themed story hour.

Thomaston — February Story Hour at the Thomaston Public Library begins Thursday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. with Dreaming Up Buildings.

Kids will create their own buildings using tongue depressors and Popsicle sticks. On Thursday, Feb. 13 the group will make picture frames and learning about shapes while playing I Spy around the Children's Room.

On Feb. 20, there will be a science experiment on buoyancy. Kids will be asked to guess whether or not different things will float. This will be a part of a “Things That Go” theme.

The final week in February, on the 28th, the group will play with parachutes, blowing bubbles, and talking about bath time during a “Splish Splash” themed Story Hour.

The Thomaston Public Library is located in the Thomaston Academy Building at 60 Main St. in Thomaston. Public access and parking is located at the rear. Call us at 354-2453 for more information.
