Betsy Crowell

Washington — Betsy Crowell, a career nurse and nursing teacher, returns with her no-holds-barred stories of “medical moments” and family foibles to the fourth annual Wine & Cheese Reception benefit Friday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Blueberry Fields Bed and Breakfast, 673 Razorville Road/Route 105.

Crowell has opened for Bob Marley at the Taste of Maine in Woolwich, where she performs on a regular basis. She performed at the local benefit last year and was a big hit.

The evening is hosted by Deb and Cyd Zeigler and features delicious food and drink. A donation of $10 to more per person is requested, to benefit the Washington Food Pantry.
