Doudera in library Speakers Series

Waldoboro — Vicki Doudera will be the next Maine author in the Friends of the Library Speakers Series Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. at Waldoboro Public Library, 958 Main St./Route 220. Doudera, a realtor, lives in Camden where, before turning to real estate and writing, she founded and ran the Blackberry Inn.

Doudera writes the Darby Farr series about a mystery-solving realtor. The settings for the series include Maine, California, Florida and Manhattan. The fifth in the series, “Deal Killer,” will be out in April. She also has a short story, "Ice Cold," in a new “Mystery Writers of America” collection coming out this spring; and is the author of the bestselling nonfiction guide “Moving to Maine.” Doudera has had articles published in Yankee and Down East magazines.
