Donoso publishes eBook of interviews
Cotacachi, Ecuador — Former Knox County resident and Rockland Public Library staff member Steven Donoso has published “Returning The Gift: Dialogues with Eckhart Tolle, Timothy Wilson, Adyashanti, and Laura Waters Hinson.” The eBook is published exclusively with Amazon.com's Kindle Direct Program.
“Returning The Gift” is a collection of inspiring, revealing and in-depth dialogues with Eckhart Tolle, author of “The Power Of Now”; Timothy Wilson, former director of the Seeds Of Peace International Camp in Otisfield, which works with teenagers from opposing sides of international war-torn conflicts; Adyashanti, author of “Falling Into Grace”; and Laura Waters Hinson, director of the award-winning documentary “As We Forgive.”
Donoso said his book was inspired by the work of these four individuals and the impact their work continues to have around the world. The cover of the eBook features a photograph by Unity College student and 2012 Camden Hills Regional High School graduate Evan Donoso.
Donoso added that a number of people locally contributed to the book in their own way.
“For instance, some of the recordings I made of these dialogues turned out quite low in volume and with lots of background noise. Vince Gabriel at Blind Albert Studios in Rockland did marvelous work in improving their audio quality, so that I could then transcribe them to print,” he said.
