Dodson returns to Library Coffeehouse
Camden — David Dodson, a favorite performer at the Camden Library Coffeehouse, will bring his most recent favorite musicians to perform with him at the next Library Coffeehouse Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m.
John and Rachel Nicholas will join Dodson for a sparkling show. The trio offers a great mix of songs and styles, from raucous to sentimental and from rock to folk, with a wonderful blend of voices and guitar work. The Camden Library Coffeehouse is a traditional coffeehouse format in a cozy setting, held at the library on the first Thursday of the month.
Dodson writes songs that run the gamut of American styles, cover a variety of topics and range from poignant to hilarious. John and Rachel’s voices and song styles blend right in with Dodson’s, and their songs cover a variety of topics and range from poignant to hilarious. The trio performed to an enthusiastic audience at the most recent New Year’s By the Bay celebration in Belfast.
John and Rachel Nicholas were introduced to the Coffeehouse audience last fall. Although they just recently moved to Camden, they have been coming to Maine for about 20 years: “We flirted with other parts of the country when we decided to relocate, but Maine won our hearts!”
Admission will be $8 at the door.
