Dock will rock again
Port Clyde — Longtime Maine bands The Rockits and Country Choir will return to Port Clyde’s Monhegan Boat Line dock Saturday, Oct. 19, for the big community benefit event Rock the Dock, last held in 2010.
There also will be food and drink, including lobster and a pig roast; raffles and more. All proceeds will benefit St. George Ambulance and LifeFlight of Maine in honor of Dylan Gold, the Massachusetts boy killed in this summer’s car crash on the boat landing.
Rock the Dock starts at 2 p.m. and runs into the evening. For more information or to donate raffle items, call 372-8848.
