Deutsch records ace; club champs crowned at RGCDeutsch has six holes-in-one in his golf career
Rockland — Steve Deutsch is no stranger to knocking his tee shots on par-3 holes in the cup. Because, now, he has accomplished that difficult feat six times.
Deutsch recorded his sixth career ace on Sept. 3, this time on the Rockland Golf Course. He recorded a hole-in-one on the 149-yard, par-3 18th hole using a 7-iron. The shot was witnessed by playing partners Skip Heald, Randy Hooper and Peter Stuart.
In other recent RGC news, James Anderson, Tom Jacobs and Charlie Zeiner captured club championships in their respective divisions in Aug. 25-26 play. Golfers played 36 holes — 18 per day — over the two days.
