The Kiwanis Club of Rockland heard a presentation about beer brewing

during their meeting on July 9.  Dan Pease of Rock Harbor Restaurant

discussed the merits of home brewing as a hobby, and how his hobby has

turned into a passion and a plan to install a brewery in his

restaurant on Main Street within the next year.  The husband of

Kiwanis president-elect Amy Shepard-Pease of Union, Pease is shown

receiving a token of thanks from Kiwanis president, Janet Page of Owls

Head.  The Kiwanis Club meets at the Samoset Resort where guest

speakers offering information about varied topics and issues are a
