Pen Bay Healthcare invites you to a one of our Better Together community events. Please join us for a free screening of Toxic Hot Seat by Kirby Walker and James Redford, followed by a Q&A after the film. The documentary unravels the shadowy, decade-long campaign of deception by chemical and tobacco industries as a courageous group of firefighters and mothers, journalists and scientists, politicians and activists fight to expose years of deception that have left a toxic legacy in our homes and bodies.
The film is presented by the Environmental Health Strategy Center, Portland, in collaboration with the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF), the Professional Firefighters of Maine and Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation. Caroline Knight, Pen Bay Medical Center's clinical research specialist will join Maine Representative Hannah Pingree, the film's director Kirby Walker and Environmental Health Strategy Center executive director Mike Belliveau for Q & A following the film.
