Cue the holiday music -- and mark your calendar for Holiday Pops!
Join friends and neighbors for the fourth annual Holiday Pops Concert Saturday, Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. in the Strom Auditorium at Camden Hills Regional High School, Route 90. The event, which has become a treasured holiday tradition, is a benefit for United Mid-Coast Charities.
The Pops program features the Maine Pro Musica Orchestra and local performers, including the Rockport Dance Conservatory and other talented youth and adults from our community.
"Every year, Maine Pro Musica Orchestra is thrilled to work with UMCC on the Holiday Pops concert," said Maine Pro Musica founder and musical director Janna Hymes of Rockport. "This has become an annual tradition in the Mid Coast, with musicians, dancers, soloists and special surprise guests! This is an event like no other and the perfect way to welcome the holiday season."
The 2012 Holiday Pops program includes special selections from the traditional holiday songbook.
