Cub Scout Pack 216 thanks Waldoboro Lions

Dec 26, 2013

Waldoboro — The Waldoboro Lions Club donated $300 in December to Jefferson Area Cub Scout Pack 216 for camping and other scouting activities.

The boys and their families are very grateful for the support of the Lions Club and look forward to camping when the weather warms up.

Cub Scout Pack 216 has boys from Jefferson, Waldoboro, Damariscotta, and Hallowell, and is chartered by The First Baptist Church of Jefferson. They are gearing up for a Raingutter Regatta in January, Blue and Gold banquet in February, a Pinewood Derby in March, and more. Cub Scouts is all about “fun with a purpose.”

Boys are welcome to join the pack at any time during the year. For more information on Pack 216, please contact Cubmaster Valerie Drever at 549-7402.

Christian Moon, a fourth-grader at Jefferson Village School, earned his Bobcat rank at December Pack meeting for Cub Scout Pack 216. All boys must earn their Bobcat rank first before any other advancements in Cub Scouts. Moon joined the pack in October and is well on his way to earning his Webelos Badge in February.
