Duane Nickerson

Rockland — Lincoln Street Center, 24 Lincoln St., will host the spirit of old-time rock ‘n’ roll Saturday, June 7. Period clothing is encouraged.

The evening will begin with a 5:30 p.m. cruise in, a chance to see, and show off, classic cars and bikes. From 7:30 to 10 p.m., the vintage fun will move inside to the bottom-floor gym for classic rock ‘n’ roll dance. Music will be provided by Duane Nickerson, the Nickerson who brings the rockier edge to Country Mist, a longtime staple of the Maine music scene.

Admission is $10 at the door. There will be a cash bar (beer and wine), snack bar, 50/50 raffle and door prizes. For more information, call Abraham Knight at 712-1314.
