Craig Borgerson to share his experiences at Sunday's Ice Cream Social

By Mussel Ridge Historical Society - Owl's Head | May 16, 2014

Craig Borgerson who was principal and a teacher at the Owl’s Head Central School will share his experiences at the Ice Cream Social to be held by the Mussel Ridge Historical Society to celebrate the history of all Owl’s Head schools.  The event will be held from 2 – 4 pm, Sunday, May 18th at the Owl’s Head Central School, 54 Ash Point Drive.  Craig will speak at about 3 pm and we hope others will share stories about their or their family members experiences at any of these schools as well.

Anyone interested in these schools, the students who attended them, their teachers and/or others who worked in them are also invited to this fun time with neighbors and friends. There will be pictures and memorabilia to view.

If you or your family members attended any schools in Owl’s Head, we hope you will bring stories, pictures and/or memorabilia to share with others.  We will have a scanner so pictures can be preserved for future generations.

The MRHS will provide ice cream and toppings.  This event is free although donations will be accepted.

If you would like further information, please call Kay Dodge at 596-6879.  If you have stories or pictures to share but are not able to attend, you may email them to musselridge@earthlink.net.
