Couple discusses Growing Up in Appleton
Appleton — Ted and Anne Johnson, longtime residents of Appleton, will discuss Growing Up in Appleton at the Monday, April 7 meeting of Appleton Historical Society.
Ted was born in North Appleton, and he and Anne have lived in town all their married life. They have seen people and buildings come and go, and watched the broad open fields of earlier days grow up to forest. Theirs is a long perspective on this town that not many have. Come and join them for an evening of discussion. They will share some reminiscences and will welcome participation in the conversation.
The meeting will be held at Mildred Stevens Williams Library, 2916 Sennebec Road in Appleton Village. It will begin with a short business meeting at 7 p.m., and the evening's program is expected to begin about 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served following the program. The public is welcome.
