Wild West comes to Rockland library

ROCKLAND — On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. there will be a Wild West Party at the Rockland Public Library. Lasso the kids and their friends for a fun wild (west) party! Suggested ages 4 to 9 years old for cowboys or cowgirls. Games, group activities, costumes, campfire stories, and ice cream.

Public supper set for Union

UNION — The public is invited to the Union Masonic Lodge 31 public supper on Friday, Jan. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m.

There will be homemade baked beans and ham, coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children.

Game Day for Grown-ups

THOMASTON — The Thomaston Public Library would like to invite the public to join the first Game Day for Grown-ups. This event will be taking place at the library on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the library's main room.

Community members are invited to bring in a game from home or try one at the library. This will be a monthly affair, so tell neighbors and bring a friend. For more information, please call the Thomaston Public Library at 354-2453.
