Cub Scouts Pack 206 is recruiting

ROCKLAND — Rockland-area Cub Scouts Pack 206 is looking for boys from first to fifth grades who are interested in joining. There will be a Join Night Friday, Sept. 5, at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Rockland District Middle School.

Annual registration fee is $25, optional Boy’s Life Magazine subscription is $12.

AWANA Club begins in Waldoboro

WALDOBORO — The AWANA Club program will start up for the year beginning Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6:15 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Waldoboro, located just beyond Moody's Diner. The program ends each week promptly at 8 p.m.
AWANA Club is for boys and girls in grades three through six. Registration forms are available on the church's website under the ministry category and may be downloaded, filled out, and brought to the church prior to the start date or to the first meeting. Or register at the first meeting.
A meal is available at the church prior to start of club at 5:30 p.m. at a cost of $2 per person. Please notify the church office by Monday, Sept. 8 if planning to attend this meal to let them know how many will be attending. Call the office at 832-7659 or email office@fbcwaldoboro.org.
