Bellows to visit Waldoboro

WALDOBORO — Shenna Bellows, Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate from Maine, will visit Waldoboro Sunday, March 9.

The public is invited to an informal reception with Shenna Bellows from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Main Street home of Betsy and Ted Wooster. Light refreshments available. For more information, call 832-5584.

Prescott Pizza Supper, Dessert Auction

WASHINGTON — Prescott Memorial School parent's group has organized a Pizza Supper and Dessert Auction Saturday, March 15, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the school.

Proceeds from the dinner will help Prescott bring Children's Stage Adventures to the school. The evening also includes crafts and face painting, music by Medomak Steel Drum Band and a dessert auction. The cost is $5 adults, $2.50 students and $15 for families.

St. Patrick's Day Dinner

UNION — Vose Library offers a traditional Be In The Green St. Patrick ’s Day dinner Sunday, March 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Union Masonic Lodge, 149 Sennebec Road. Tickets are $10 each. Proceeds will benefit Vose Library.

The menu will feature a traditional St. Patrick’s Day dinner with corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, soda bread, and homemade desserts. There will be live music with an Irish theme. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Vose Library, or at the Masonic Lodge door on March 16.

Library patrons and supporters are invited to help Union’s community library to Be In The Green by attending the St. Patrick’s Day dinner.
