Attention Thomaston High School alumni

THOMASTON — Students who attended the old Thomaston High School and have not been contacted regarding the upcoming reunion June 28, please call 845-3102 before May 15. This may be the last reunion.

Public supper

ROCKLAND — A public supper will be held Monday, Feb. 24, at 5:30 p.m. at Rockland Congregational Church. Menu includes meatloaf, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits. and dessert. The cost is $8.

Waldoboro business meeting

WALDOBORO — The next monthly meeting of the Waldoboro Business Association will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m.

The Waldoboro Business Association has just celebrated its 10th anniversary and is pleased to welcome six new members. Scheduled is a presentation on the new Map & Guide, an update from the new Community Connections group and a presentation to the Waldoboro Fire Department. The meeting is at the Village Bakery & Cafe, 11 Friendship St. in Waldoboro Village. Light refreshments are available.

Not too late to sign up for health care

WALDOBORO — The Waldoboro Public Library and Healthy Lincoln County will present an informational community forum about the Health Insurance Marketplace and the new CO-OP health insurance option for Maine people, at the library Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m.

Malory Shaughnessy, outreach and education specialist from Maine Community Health Options, will give an overview of the marketplace, and discuss what assistance is available to help reduce the cost. There will be a question-and-answer period and materials available with more information.

Maine Community Health Options, maineoptions.org, is a Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan or CO-OP, a private, nonprofit entity. Healthy Lincoln County is one of 27 local Healthy Maine Partnerships working to improve public health in Maine.
