‘Come Spring Chronicles’ open rehearsal

Jun 11, 2014

Union — Vose Library, in partnership with the Come Spring Players, will host the third annual rehearsal of the “Come Spring Chronicles” Wednesday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at the library, 392 Common Road.

Readings from Ben Ames William's novel “Come Spring,” the story of the settling of Union, have been adapted for performance. The event is the first public rehearsal of the cast, who will be performing throughout the year. The intimate setting at the library and much laughter give the audience an informal look at how the actors and reader make adjustments to portray the characters, allowing them to more easily connect with the themes of the novel.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call Vose Library at 784-4733.
